CNC Operator
Minnesota · Full-time · $25–$28/hr
Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts, ensuring quality standards and production targets are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines according to production specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Adjust machine settings to correct deviations and maintain tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Record production data and report issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in machining is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or similar).
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of G-code/CNC programming preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
