Key Responsibilities
- Operate telescopic (hydraulic boom) cranes to lift, move, and place materials and equipment.
- Plan every lift: load charts, rigging, ground conditions, and swing radius.
- Perform daily crane inspections and report any defect before operating.
- Work with riggers and signal persons using standard hand and radio signals.
- Follow OSHA crane and rigging standards and the site safety plan.
Qualifications
- 3+ years operating telescopic cranes in construction or industrial settings.
- Current crane operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent) required.
- Able to read and apply load charts.
- Strong safety record.
- Valid driver’s license; available for rotating shifts.
